In the history of the circus previously there were productions of performances with the use of water. A new stage in the development of the circus on water was ushered in by Yana Schevchenko who set up in 1998 a new "Circus on Water" troupe which presents a striking and jolly show-divertissement. Relying on her personal artist-gymnast and artist-animal trainer experience, the young producer, who has got extraordinary artistic vision, organically combines several arts: the multi-genre circus, music, choreography and artistic design.

 The circus on water involves acrobats, equilibrists, gymnasts and certainly clowns. Exceeding the customary limits of circus animal training art, a number of acts with animals are performed right in water. In this show Yana Schevchenko made a successful blend of flame and water, which, on the face of it, cannot be brought together. Very spectacular are the acts with torches in many-coloured water fountains. This work does bring forth the distinctive style and creative inventiveness of the romantic artist Yana Schevchenko, and to a full extent these qualities of hers were patently manifest in the new big "Enchanting Show on Water" production which was .released in 2003.

Guest performances of the new program were a success in Latvia, the Ukraine, China, Oman and Hungary.
